Backcountry wilderness present wild animals and dangerous conditions without support
Extremely steep uphill trail with ruts, rocks, cactus, loose dirt on top of solid rock trail
Bikes are allowed on all of these trails and can collide with people
Rattlesnakes, coyotes and deer are often seen on these trails
Cell phones do NOT have service in many areas

There are restrooms about 2 miles into the hike

Round trip distance is approximately 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 miles

There is an elevation gain of approximately 1,000 feet twice, for a total of 2,000 foot
Where To Park
This hike starts and ends in the same place, but there is NO parking at the trailhead.
There is metered parking about 1/2 mile away between these two addresses.

There is free parking in a dirt lot if space is available on Laguna Canyon Road
just North of Canyon Acres Road.
